Role Overview
The Mayor's Office of Talent and Appointments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to serve as a member of the Community Schools Advisory Committee. As a key member of this committee, you will provide intellectual guidance and diverse perspectives to the research projects of the Office of the State Superintendent of Education.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute substantive expertise to the research process related to student learning, school improvement, and urban education policy.
- Help formulate Partnership policy and provide guidance on research projects.
- Ensure that the Advisory Committee's work is informed by diverse perspectives and expertise.
Requirements
- Ability to contribute substantive expertise to the research process.
- Experience in practice, policy, or research on school improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility
- Must be a DC Resident.
- Must not be employed by the Partnership or a direct employee of a non-government organization that provides funding to the Partnership.
