Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Marketing Executive to join our team at Border States. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales and marketing plan that drives business growth and revenue.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of the electrical industry and its trends. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners, as well as developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the electrical industry.
  • Sales Training and Development: Develop and deliver sales training programs to ensure that sales teams have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure that business objectives are met.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage sales teams to achieve business objectives, including setting goals, providing coaching and feedback, and making decisions about team structure and composition.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Sales and Marketing Experience: Proven track record of success in sales and marketing, with a strong understanding of the electrical industry and its trends.
  • 5+ Years of Leadership Experience: Experience leading and managing sales teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Related Field: Strong educational background in marketing or a related field.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions about sales strategies and business objectives.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors, and partners.
Physical Requirements

This role requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, and may involve working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
