About the ICU RN Role and Department

Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Magnet-designated nursing team in the state-of-the-art Blake 12 ICU. This 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal transplant, and trauma intensive care unit provides exceptional care to critically ill patients. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to achieve our vision of delivering excellent, quality care in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork.
  • Meet the minimum requirements for the role, including a current Massachusetts RN license and a minimum of 3 years of recent ICU experience.
