Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our 14-bed ICU unit. As an Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans for critically ill patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • BSN required (CCRN preferred)
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers required upon hire
  • ACLS must be obtained within orientation
  • ICU experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
