Join Our Team as a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in the CVICU. As a Staff Nurse in this unit, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the CVICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Current CCU experience required.
  • 1yr of cardiology experience preferred.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
