Job Summary:The Medical Intensive Care Unit Nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 2 years current nursing experience in Oncology or Intermediate/Medical/Surgical or Critical Care.
- Prefer current ICU experience.
- ACLS, CCRN Certification preferred.
