Job Responsibilities:

Instruct Nursing clinical and laboratory courses across all nursing programs as required, delivering systematically planned and executed instruction. Maintain comprehensive records of student academic progress and attendance, assess levels of achievement, and assign grades accordingly. When not engaged in teaching, time on campus may involve providing tutoring support to students.

Lecturers will conduct clinical and laboratory instruction for up to 32 hours per week during each academic term. Teaching assignments may encompass both daytime and evening classes, as well as clinical, online, or hybrid classes, including weekend clinical sessions at various sites.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

South Carolina State Board of Nursing requirements:

Clinical Position: Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.

All applicants must also meet the following criteria:

• Hold an unencumbered active license as a registered nurse in South Carolina or another Compact state.

• Have a minimum of two years of experience as a registered or advanced practice nurse in the relevant clinical areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience is highly desirable.
