Key Responsibilities for Wound Care Nurse Practitioner

  • Conduct rounds at designated facilities and address the wound care requirements of this vulnerable population.
  • Collaborate closely with the OnSite team, nursing home personnel, residents, and their families.
  • Proactively monitor patients and evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed treatments.
  • Educate patients and staff on best practices in wound care.
  • Incorporate a variety of interventions, prioritizing non-pharmacological approaches whenever feasible.
  • Hold a Master of Science in Nursing with FNP, ANP, AGNP, AGACNP, AGPCNP, or ACNP certification.
  • Possess an active nursing license in South Carolina.
  • Have DEA registration.
  • Bring at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrate strong patient assessment capabilities.
  • Maintain a dedicated, patient-centered work ethic.
