Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for the overall leadership of the community, managing daily operations to ensure that residents receive outstanding care and services. This role requires effective communication with staff, residents, families, vendors, and regulatory bodies, demonstrating patience and problem-solving skills to address daily challenges. The CEO is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and guiding a cohesive team of department leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily functions of all community departments, collaborating with department leaders to promote satisfaction among residents, families, and staff.
  • Direct and mentor department heads, stepping in for vacant positions as necessary. Support the leadership team in recruitment, onboarding, staffing, and performance evaluations across the community.
  • Operate within established financial parameters.
  • Engage directly with residents and families to address and resolve any concerns or preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal regulations.
  • Act as a leader in community outreach, collaborating with the marketing team to refine sales strategies and conducting tours for prospective residents.
  • Maintain the property to the highest standards, ensuring that available accommodations are ready for new residents by proactively addressing any issues.
