Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the collection and arrangement of client tax documents, such as W-2s, 1099s, and other essential financial records.
  • Enter fundamental tax-related information into tax preparation software under the guidance of experienced tax preparers.
  • Coordinate and confirm client appointments.
  • Engage with clients through various communication channels to address basic inquiries and provide updates regarding their tax submissions.
  • Ensure the accurate entry and secure storage of all client data within the firm's database.
  • Support the preparation of tax forms and related documentation as instructed by senior personnel.
  • Maintain filing systems and keep organized records for efficient access.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in accounting or related disciplines is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a tax office or administrative capacity is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with tax preparation software is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
