Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project management for federal clients, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while complying with all relevant federal regulations.
  • Engage with a diverse array of local, state, and federal stakeholders on transportation enhancement initiatives.
  • Independently tackle complex challenges, collaborating with Project Managers and Senior Engineers to devise effective solutions.
  • Participate in the management of smaller projects or specific phases within larger initiatives, supervising and guiding junior engineers and planners.
  • Consult with clients and senior staff on specialized engineering and planning issues.
  • Coordinate team efforts, monitor progress, and facilitate communication among all project participants.
  • Organize and actively participate in client meetings and discussions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, and presentation materials.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes and improve company capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of professional experience in a variety of transportation projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Experience in capital projects, construction, planning, or related fields is preferred.
  • Background in transit, rail, and transportation infrastructure.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various engineering software.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity and equity.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Primavera and cost estimating.
  • Local candidates are preferred.
