Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project management for federal clients, ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, design specifications, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with various local, state, and federal stakeholders on transportation improvement initiatives, both large and small scale.
- Independently tackle complex challenges while consulting with Project Managers and Senior Engineers.
- Manage smaller projects or segments of larger projects, supervising and coordinating the efforts of junior engineers and planners.
- Engage with clients and superiors to address technical issues in engineering and planning.
- Facilitate teamwork by coordinating tasks and monitoring progress among project staff.
- Participate actively in client meetings and discussions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, proposals, graphics, and presentation materials.
- Propose innovative ideas to enhance project outcomes and improve company performance.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of professional experience in a variety of transportation-related projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
- Experience in capital projects, construction, planning, or related fields is preferred.
- Background in transit, rail, and transportation infrastructure.
- Project management experience is essential.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and various engineering software.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace that values diversity and equity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Primavera/Scheduling and Cost Estimating.
- Local candidates are preferred.
