Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Strategic IT Manager. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of IT operations, cybersecurity, and policy planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and direct IT operations, including multiple specialties such as IT architecture, cybersecurity, network infrastructure, system administration, and IT policy planning.
  • Identify immediate and long-range needs and resources to execute IT mission requirements.
  • Interpret and apply complex IT principles, theories, and regulations to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a key consultant and advisor on multiple IT specialties to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior military leadership, civilian counterparts, and supported commands.
Requirements
  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Experience must demonstrate planning, managing, and directing IT operations, identifying immediate and long-range needs and resources, interpreting and applying complex IT principles, theories, and regulations, and serving as a key consultant and advisor on multiple IT specialties.
  • Must have skill in attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
Working Conditions

This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
