Position Overview

We are in search of a Regional Vice President to oversee our operations in the Northwest region. This pivotal role is tasked with managing the comprehensive Riboli Family Wines product range across designated markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, communicating, inspiring, organizing, and ensuring the successful execution of company objectives through the assigned team, aimed at achieving targeted depletion, POD, revenue, and profit goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement depletion, POD, shipment, and budget strategies for the division.
  • Ensure compliance and effective execution across all trade channels.
  • Directly attain revenue and profitability objectives for the division.
  • Develop, lead, and inspire regional, district, and area managers to achieve performance benchmarks.
  • Coordinate all sales initiatives within the specified division.
  • Manage financial plans, including trade expenditures and sales costs.
  • Guide teams towards achieving goals and fostering career advancement within Riboli Family Wines.
  • Execute brand strategies and adhere to the Riboli Sales Process with your team.
  • Assess and address the performance of managers and distributors.
  • Engage in presentations across retail and on-premise accounts, supporting distributor initiatives.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of products, the wine sector, competitive brands, and market dynamics.
  • Build relationships across various company departments (sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, HR, legal, IT).
  • Represent Riboli brands with professionalism at all times.
  • Uphold fiduciary responsibilities in financial matters and company operations.

Job Breakdown

  • 50% fieldwork with managers, distributors, and trade customers.
  • 30% planning and strategic development.
  • 20% administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A four-year college degree or relevant professional experience (e.g., supplier, distributor sales, wine industry management).
  • At least 10 years of experience in the beverage alcohol sector with substantial management expertise.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at creating reports, presentations, and effectively engaging with teams, clients, and the public.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and company-specific software.
  • Strong mathematical skills for financial data analysis.
  • Multilingual abilities (Italian, Spanish) are advantageous for certain markets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to interpret statistical data and propose solutions.

Physical Demands

  • Regular use of a computer; must be able to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to taste and smell wine products is essential.
  • Understanding and compliance with responsible alcohol distribution and consumption practices.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver's license; residence in designated areas.
  • Willingness to travel overnight; participation in distributor and trade training sessions.
  • Strong time management skills; professional vehicle for business use (auto allowance provided).
  • Adherence to laws and ethical standards governing the alcohol industry.
