Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at SSA Marine

We are seeking a strategic and analytical leader to join our Business Development division at SSA Marine, a subsidiary of the Carrix organization and part of the Blackstone portfolio. As the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, you will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Business Development and play a pivotal role in shaping, implementing, and overseeing the company's strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities will encompass identifying avenues for growth, managing the EBITDA Enhancement Program, and fostering operational excellence to boost profitability.

In collaboration with the Senior Vice President of Business Development, you will assist in articulating the company's long-term strategic vision, ensuring it aligns with market dynamics and customer expectations. Your insights will be crucial in supporting high-level decision-making and driving the overall success of the organization.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to assess strategic projects
  • Lead the formulation of business cases and financial analyses
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and foresee potential challenges
  • Establish connections with key stakeholders
  • Oversee and mentor a Strategy Manager

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy formulation or corporate planning. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred. Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills are essential, complemented by a proactive and results-driven approach.

Hybrid work schedule required, with at least 3 days per week in the office.
