This role requires a strong leader who can establish, implement, and maintain patient care and service standards to meet members and internal clients' expectations and needs in a changing, competitive healthcare market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
  • Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop strategic business plans, driving integrated services across the continuum of care.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality of care.
  • Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Ensure a culture of safety, promoting patient, employee, and department safety standards and guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience, including three years of management, supervisory, or leadership experience.
  • Academic degree in nursing required (Bachelors or Masters degree).
  • Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with electronic medical records.
  • Masters degree.
  • National Certification in specialty.
