Nurse Leader

Kaiser Permanente seeks a skilled Nurse Leader to provide professional nursing care and lead the healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will:
- Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures, as well as applicable state, federal, and local laws.
- Lead the healthcare team, delegating tasks appropriately and demonstrating accountability.
- Understand the scope of practice and escalate issues as necessary.
- Champion new ideas and lead the team through change.
- Utilize effective communication strategies to achieve intended outcomes.
- Participate in problem identification and resolution.
- Mentor and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care activities.
- Share responsibility and authority with subordinates and hold them accountable for performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve member issues.
- Prioritize, delegate, and supervise work assignments to ensure patient care activities are completed.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
Clinical Outcomes:
The ideal candidate will:
- Discuss patient findings and progress with physicians and other healthcare team members.
- Demonstrate competencies during the probationary period and ongoing completion by departmental competency validation.
- Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of data, assessments, and evaluations of patient outcomes.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
