Acton Medical Associates, PC a busy adult and pediatric primary care practice is seeking full-time Nurse Practitioner for our Internal Medicine department to join our team. The NP will participate in a care team model, collaborating with primary care physicians to care for a panel of patients with a variety of primary care needs including routine physicals, chronic disease management, and urgent care. This position is full-time with occasional Saturday urgent care coverage. No night or weekend call.


We are looking for 8 sessions (4 full days or 3 full days and 2 half days). We participate in a care team model that does not require NPs to carry a panel of patients. The NPs work within a care team with approximately 2-3 PCPs to provide comprehensive preventive care, chronic disease management, transitional care out of the hospital setting, and urgent care for adult patients age 18-end of life.


Education and/or Experience

  • Must be a graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a nurse practitioner in adult medicine.

Qualifications

  • Certified as a nurse practitioner by the ANCC or AANP.
  • Current RN and NP licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Current BCLS.
  • CPR certification annually.

Other Qualifications

  • Participation in relevant CEU programs.
  • Maintenance of requirements for licensure.
