Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, this role performs routine patient care duties in the Emergency Department. The successful candidate will assist in treatment rooms, providing essential support to patients and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Documentation and Communication: Accurately complete documentation and serve as a reliable information source for patients and families.
- Patient Care: Assist with patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Treatment Room Support: Assist medical staff with procedures, prepare patients for exams, and maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, cancel or reschedule patient appointments as needed, and direct patients to appropriate departments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
