Research Scientist Opportunity

Cedars-Sinai Medical Network is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team in the Department of Surgery. The successful candidate will be part of a new Center specializing in Developmental and Stem Cell Biology, with a focus on regenerative hearing research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct impactful research in regenerative hearing and developmental biology
  • Collaborate with the Regenerative Medicine Institute and other relevant units on campus
  • Develop and implement research projects, including grant writing and project management
  • Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the growth of the research team

Requirements:

  • Doctorate (MD or PhD or both) with three (3) or more years' experience in otolaryngology research
  • Evidence of successful NIH or industry funding
  • National or international prominence with proven abilities as principal investigator and mentor
  • Demonstrated ability in research mentoring
