We are seeking a highly skilled Helpdesk Administrator II to join our USA IT Team in Buffalo, NY. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to help requests from end-users in a courteous and professional manner, documenting the entire support lifecycle.
- Prioritize and schedule problem resolution, escalating issues when necessary to experienced technicians.
- Use software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and online resources to aid in problem resolution.
- Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
- Perform hands-on fixes, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals.
- Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems, developing help sheets and FAQs for end-users.
- Maintain and report on operational systems, such as backup and monitoring.
- Two years' professional experience in a related field or equivalent in pursuit of a degree.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Windows workstation operating systems, Microsoft Office products, PC hardware break/fix troubleshooting, and IOS and Android mobile devices.
- Domain services: MS Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Printer Server, File Sharing, and Office 365 Administration.
- Familiarity with Citrix, Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, SAP and/or iSeries, IBM Domino and Lotus Notes, and basic knowledge of switching and routing.
We offer a competitive salary of $28-$30 per hour and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
