Aircraft Modification Operations Supervisor

As the Aircraft Modification Operations Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team of engineers, including Drafters, Designers, and Stress Analysts, focused on executing aircraft modification projects at a designated subcontractor facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the engineering team to ensure successful completion of modification tasks while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
- Provide clear task assignments and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
- Regularly communicate project status and future plans to both program and corporate leadership.
- Prepare and deliver monthly updates on team performance, including cost and schedule forecasts.
- Develop and present monthly Estimate At Complete (EAC) reports to leadership.
Essential Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in effectively planning, assigning, and tracking engineering tasks.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate with program management and engineering teams to meet project objectives.
- Familiarity with modified aircraft programs.
- Willingness to be present at the program site for a significant portion of the work schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience utilizing financial tools and systems relevant to aerospace projects.
- Background in military special mission aircraft.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership within an organization.
- Availability to work full-time at the program site.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or a related field.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $96,000 and $200,000, reflecting a comprehensive assessment of experience levels. RTX considers multiple factors when determining offers, including role responsibilities, individual qualifications, and location.
