Job Overview:
As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician specializing in Airframe and Powerplant, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft through meticulous maintenance and repair. This role requires certification and licensing from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to conduct both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on airframes and engines.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect replacement aircraft components for any defects.
2. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
3. Interpret maintenance manuals and technical documents to determine repair procedures.
4. Conduct repairs on wings, brakes, electrical systems, and other aircraft parts.
5. Replace faulty components using approved tools and techniques.
6. Utilize diagnostic equipment to test aircraft parts.
7. Ensure all work complies with safety and performance standards.
8. Review and analyze aircraft maintenance records.
9. Interpret flight test data to identify malfunctions and performance issues.
10. Assemble aircraft components and perform necessary measurements and tests.
11. Install system software and databases as required.

Qualifications:
- Must possess FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification or equivalent experience (Repairman Certificate eligible).
- Practical experience in aircraft maintenance is preferred.
- Experience with Cirrus SR2X or factory training is advantageous.
- Knowledge of aircraft painting and refinishing is a plus.

Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with Federal Aviation Administration Regulations is essential.

Certificates or Licenses:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certification is required.
