About the Role

AAR is a leading provider of aviation services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structures Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to mechanics, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in all aircraft repairs and modifications.
  • Monitor and accurately complete all aircraft paperwork, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish work priorities and supervise the work of up to 15 mechanics, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting deadlines.
  • Effectively interact with customer representatives, providing exceptional service and support.
Essential Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 1 year related aviation sheet metal experience and/or training.
  • Hold a minimum of an airframe (A) license.
  • May or may not have a powerplant (P) license.
  • Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.
  • Frequently: Lifting ≤40 lbs., push/pull
