Position Title: Aircraft Structural Integrity Engineer (Associate or Mid-Level)

Job Overview:

The Boeing Global Services division is actively seeking talented individuals for the role of Structural Integrity and Durability and Damage Tolerance (DaDT) Engineers. This role is crucial in supporting our extensive portfolio of aircraft, including military and derivative models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough crack growth assessments and durability analyses.
  • Formulate and recommend maintenance strategies and inspection schedules to ensure operational readiness.
  • Develop, integrate, and document structural specifications to guide system design.
  • Collaborate with various engineering teams to define the operational environment of the product.
  • Utilize analytical techniques, finite element modeling, and simulations to validate structural integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Document certification and testing outcomes to confirm compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
  • Assist in the evaluation of in-service products by investigating failures and proposing enhancements.
  • Operate under general supervision, contributing to team objectives.

Work Arrangement: This position offers a hybrid work model, requiring some onsite presence as determined by the hiring team.

Export Control Compliance: This role is subject to U.S. export control regulations, requiring candidates to be classified as a "U.S. Person" as defined by applicable laws.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience within the aerospace sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant education and/or experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in aerospace stress and structural analysis.
  • Experience with Durability and Damage Tolerance Analysis for aircraft.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate Level: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of related experience.

Mid-Level: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of related experience.
