Objective

The primary objective of the Project Coordinator is to assist the project team in achieving successful project results by liaising with clients, field personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project execution.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead the review of plans and specifications, utilizing expertise to eliminate obstacles for efficient field implementation.
  • Ensure that plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and FCDs are current in Procore, and if printed plans are used, confirm that accurate information is accessible in the field.
  • Coordinate and update project schedules, continuously assessing progress to ensure adherence to timelines and reporting potential issues to the project team.
  • Manage price and scope change requests, ensuring timely coordination with field teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Verify the accuracy of progress drawings through review and site inspections, ensuring the latest versions are available in Procore and resolving discrepancies with Foreman and Superintendent.
  • Analyze SIPs and Earned Hours/TRACK for accuracy and trends, communicating successes and challenges to the project team.

Job Functions:

In addition to the core responsibilities outlined, the Project Coordinator will undertake the following job functions:

  • Accountable for understanding each project's budget and managing it effectively, including the precise application of cost codes.
  • Actively engage in the development of a successful Project Plan.
  • Maintain and update the risk matrix, ensuring risks are mitigated through collaboration with project team members.
  • Provide A-C support to subcontractors; addressing submittals, inquiries, and issues, escalating to Project Management when necessary.
  • Oversee the material tracking process.
  • Prepare schedules of values for project management review.
  • Conduct production tracking reconciliations.
  • Coordinate project requirement processes, including submittals and RFIs.
  • Manage the O&M and closeout processes.
  • Identify and nurture future leaders by sharing knowledge and experience.
  • Promote a culture of safety, leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading construction documents, including plan sets, specification books, and contracts.
  • Demonstrated electrical experience and knowledge through accredited apprenticeship programs, college education, or relevant work experience.
  • Able to perform under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive demeanor.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and an effective collaborator.
  • Interacts professionally and effectively with both internal and external clients.

Compensation Range: $65,000 – 165,000. The offered pay may vary based on various individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this role may also encompass additional elements depending on the position.
