About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Wealth Management Leader to join our Wealth Management team at The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive wealth management advice and solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trusted advisor relationships with our largest and most sophisticated clients.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth management plans using our Active Wealth framework.
  • Responsible for bringing new, larger clients to the firm and effectively servicing, managing, retaining, and growing existing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with opportunities sourced by Client Strategists to win new business.
  • Serve as primary advisor and manage large and complex client relationships with dedicated support teams.
  • Articulate our Active Wealth framework and implement firm's best investment thinking.
  • Analyze client balance sheets for unrealized opportunities and/or optimization.
  • Collaborate with functional team members and BNYM investment professionals to ensure all firm capabilities are provided to our clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • Additional industry designations and certifications are a plus (CFP, CFA, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of financial industry experience, primarily managing larger, more complex client relationships.
  • Experience working in a highly detail-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technological proficiency and adoption of firm's digital tools.
