The E-Commerce Strategy Specialist at Sherwin-Williams will oversee retailer-specific projects and daily operations that enhance sales and customer experiences for renowned brands such as Valspar, Minwax, Krylon, Cabot, and Purdy through online platforms. This role involves the construction, enhancement, and optimization of the digital presence and consumer interactions to boost traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and overall customer satisfaction.

  • Establish robust cross-functional partnerships with NABU Sales Teams, Marketing Communications, e-Business, Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Customer Marketing.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the digital representation of experiences and products offered.
  • Lead the creation of digital marketing content for new product introductions and content improvement initiatives that align with brand identity and resonate with consumers on retailer digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and e-Business/Marketing Data Management team to oversee all new product setup projects through each retailer's established processes.
  • Work closely with Brand and Product Marketing teams to ensure that the content and strategies developed for retailer digital platforms effectively highlight unique brand and product advantages.
  • Assist the Digital Experience Manager in implementing the Rating & Reviews Try-It Program in coordination with Customer Service & Distribution teams.
  • Act as the primary contact for issues related to online SKU presentation and brand performance.
  • Monitor and update competitive analysis regularly.
  • Evaluate competitive data to provide recommendations for SKU optimization.
  • Support the Digital Commerce Manager during Product Line Review presentations.
  • Utilize expertise in the shopping funnel and site technologies to enhance the search and browsing experience.
  • Analyze sales and distribution of direct-to-consumer products to offer insights and recommendations to National Account Managers.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales teams to identify key products for the Special Order Program and manage the item launch process.
  • Coordinate with Digital Marketing and internal IT teams to ensure timely delivery of new and updated digital experiences.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Technology.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in online/retail merchandising, digital marketing, or e-commerce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to synthesize various sources of input (data, business stakeholders, client research, design) to make high-quality decisions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives within large organizations.
  • Familiarity with e-retailer e-commerce processes, technologies, operations, merchandising, SEM, and SEO.
  • Technical proficiency and adaptability to learn database systems and web-based platforms (e.g., Item Management Application, Salsify, Commercehub).
  • Demonstrated experience with major consumer brands and strategies to support and differentiate them in the digital landscape.
  • Ability to maintain composure and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results; self-starter and self-directed.
