The Role

As OwnBackup continues its growth trajectory, we are seeking a motivated Account Executive focused on both acquiring new business and advancing their career in sales. In this role, you will be responsible for converting leads into loyal customers through effective management of both inbound and outbound opportunities. Your objective will be to pinpoint strategic prospects and nurture them into long-term, profitable partnerships.

Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Lead Management: Oversee prospects from initial contact to successful closure.
  • Territory Development: Create and manage a Territory Plan targeting Commercial Accounts to uncover and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding existing relationships.
  • Value Proposition: Clearly communicate and showcase our unique value proposition, generating enthusiasm among potential clients.
  • Sales Forecasting: Maintain an accurate quarterly sales forecast and achieve business closure to meet and exceed set booking targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Solution Engineers, Alliances, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to provide vital customer feedback that influences product development and enhances the overall customer experience.
  • Training Participation: Engage in our exceptional sales enablement programs, including comprehensive training sessions and leadership development initiatives.

Your Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role, ideally within the SaaS industry.
  • Experience in outbound prospecting is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets (e.g., President's Club, Rep of the Year).
  • Familiarity with consultative, value-based selling techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new business through effective outbound prospecting methods.
  • Experience with multiple product offerings.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably with startup experience.
  • Comfortable engaging with VP, C-Suite executives, and IT leaders, navigating complex decision-making processes.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven.

Key Information

This is a full-time position requiring a commitment of five days per week in the office. The ideal candidate will be based in a collaborative environment to maximize interaction with the team. Travel may be necessary.
