Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer II to join the Advanced Airborne RF Systems Engineering department in Goleta, California. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine product or system requirements based on customer information
  • Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents
  • Ensure requirement clarity, conciseness, understandability, and verifiability
  • Trace requirement flow between different parts of the program
  • Assess and track requirement changes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in STEM and minimum 2 years of prior system engineering experience
  • Experience with systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules
  • Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE with DevSecOps)
  • Experience leading system test and security requirements related to government testing
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years
