The Relationship Specialist II (RS II) serves a versatile role, integrating the responsibilities of a concierge, RS I, ITM Representative, and Relationship Manager I to effectively support our members both in-person and via phone. Under general supervision, the RS II will direct members to the appropriate resources for resolution or assist them directly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with members to assess their needs, propose solutions, and follow up on outstanding transactions. Facilitate meaningful conversations with members, whether face-to-face or over the phone.
- Execute a variety of tasks including escorting members to the right departments, managing cash transactions, opening new accounts, and processing loan applications.
- Handle diverse account maintenance tasks such as issuing ATM/Debit Cards, updating personal information, and processing deceased accounts.
- Recommend and refer suitable products and services, including Mortgage and Investment options, based on insightful member interactions.
- Ensure the branch maintains accurate financial balances.
- Identify and report any suspicious activities or potential fraud.
- Complete all mandatory training and compliance requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Credit Union events, contributing to both departmental and organizational goals.
- Represent Nuvision Federal Credit Union positively and professionally.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding member information.
- Show respect to all team members and members alike.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in achieving service and performance targets.
- Familiarity with relevant Federal, State, and NCUA regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of deposit account products and services.
- Working knowledge of loan products and associated systems.
- Demonstrated ability to generate business.
- Genuine interest in assisting members through meaningful conversations, showcasing empathy and care.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and manage frequent interruptions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Completion of all compliance-related training.
- NMLS Registration is required.
- Notary certification is preferred.
