Veterinary Equipment Service Specialist
As a Veterinary Equipment Service Specialist, you will be tasked with delivering exceptional repair and installation services for a diverse range of veterinary apparatus. Your role will involve adhering to manufacturer specifications for the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of various equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to service requests independently, diagnose issues, and execute repairs
- Install, deliver, and verify equipment compliance with industry standards
- Educate clients on the proper use and basic upkeep of equipment
- Complete service documentation and foster positive customer relationships
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-5 years of experience in a veterinary, medical, or dental setting
- Proficient in Windows-based computer applications
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Team-oriented and self-motivated
Preferred Skills:
- Four years of experience as a Certified Veterinary Technician
- Experience with X-Ray equipment
- Familiarity with SAP software
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Technical training in biomedical or electronics fields
Work Environment:
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 100 pounds
- Engagement in light physical activities
- Frequent use of hands and occasional climbing
Environmental Considerations:
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals and biohazardous materials
- Work in high voltage areas and confined spaces
Travel Requirements:
This position may necessitate overnight travel.
