About the Role:

VIZIO is seeking a dynamic leader to manage mathematical modeling, experimentation, and analytics across the enterprise. As the Head of Data Science and Analytics, you will oversee teams performing non-commoditized data work and drive strategic initiatives to inform product strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data Science organization with vision and empathy.
• Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Manage teams that develop and write algorithms for use in production.
• Mentor senior team members.
• Strategically investigate emerging technologies and their applications.
• Evangelize Data Science across the organization.
• Use data to inform product strategy.

About You:

We are looking for a trained researcher with a doctorate in a quantitative field and 10+ years' Data Science management experience. You should have 5+ years' experience managing managers and be fluent in Python and SQL. Additionally, you should have a high sense of ownership and results-driven approach, as well as technical knowledge of ad-tech and/or data licensing industries.
