Data Science Team Lead Opportunity

SNI Technology's top client is seeking a talented Data Science Team Lead to join their team in Denver, CO. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a 40-hour workweek and the option to work remotely 2 days per week.

Data Science Team Lead

Our client is a leading technology firm that specializes in integrating technology to enhance their service offerings. They are becoming increasingly dependent on data-intensive applications, with data sourced from multiple channels and synced to a large SQL data lake. They use Power BI extensively for dashboard displays, Salesforce for client data storage, and manage extensive medical records as part of their database.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, SQL, and Python, and experience with tools such as Power BI and Salesforce. Additionally, this individual must have proven experience in managing teams and building departments from the ground up.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of data science projects
Build and manage a high-performing data science and UI/UX team
Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential
Oversee the integration and synchronization of data from multiple sources into a large SQL data lake
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the effective use of data in decision-making
Analyze complex datasets to provide actionable insights
Ensure the integrity and security of data
Stay up-to-date with the latest data science trends and technologies

Education and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
Proven experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably in a leadership position

Technical Skills, Knowledge, Abilities
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
Experience with Power BI and Salesforce
Proficiency in additional programming languages such as R, Java, or Scala
Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop or Spark
Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team
Experience in building a department or team from the ground up
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with medical records data is a plus
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and experience in developing user-centric solutions

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position is in the range of $120K to $160K annually + benefits for this direct-hire opportunity.
