We're seeking an experienced PMO Director who thrives on building high-performing teams and establishing best-in-class program management functions. As the PMO Director, you will be at the forefront of strategic and tactical leadership, working directly with large owner/client agencies to ensure the seamless delivery of projects that impact not only the organization's revenue but also enhance end-user satisfaction.

Influence Major Projects:

You'll spearhead the creation and leadership of a new PMO, driving the success of complex and high-visibility infrastructure projects.

Lead with Impact:

As the PMO SME, you'll collaborate with senior leadership, clients, and project teams to ensure that all initiatives align with strategic business objectives and financial targets.

Shape the Future:

Lead the development of project standards, templates, governance structures, and training programs that will elevate the entire organization's project management maturity and set a new bar for excellence.

Collaborate at the Highest Levels:

Engage directly with senior client leadership and key internal stakeholders to resolve issues, implement change management routines, and ensure that every project not only meets but exceeds expectations.

Drive Financial Success:

Play a pivotal role in supporting cash flow, revenue, and margin goals, helping the organization grow and thrive through your expert program leadership.

Build and Lead a PMO:

Establish, manage, and lead the PMO to ensure that all programs and projects align with company objectives and are executed effectively.

Provide Expert Training:

Lead the creation of management training programs to ensure the continued development of PMO capabilities.

Be the Client's Trusted Partner:

Act as a key liaison for senior client leadership, maintaining open communication channels to address concerns, discuss progress, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Monitor and Report Progress:

Oversee the tracking of project performance, budget management, and timeline adherence.

Champion Process Improvement:

Continuously assess project management processes and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Manage Financials:

Collaborate with Pricing and Proposals teams on project cost estimation and work with leadership to ensure financial targets are met.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. ~15+ years' experience in Portfolio/Program/Project management. ~Full understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.) ability to build an open environment where conflicts as to project priorities and funding decisions can be aired and resolved objectively. ~ Ability to build and deliver executive-level summary reports and presentations. ~ Demonstrated experience leading a team that excels at delivering technical solutions to external clients with a direct tie between project deliverables and revenue. ~ Demonstrated experience building organizational relationships, partnering with and influencing executive leadership while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization. ~ Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software programs such as Power BI. ~ Strong proficiency with industry standard project management software. ~Master's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Business Administration (MBA).
