Job Description

As a Requirements Engineer at General Dynamics, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customer activities. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to the development of our cyber security services.

Our Requirements Engineer will be responsible for providing proactive technical systems integration support to fast-paced operational projects. This includes analyzing user needs to determine functional requirements for an enterprise-level IT infrastructure and services project, performing functional analysis to identify tasks and their relationships, researching and recommending resources required for task execution and completion, and performing functional modeling based on requirements analysis.

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of operations and their relevant support, as well as experience with technical documentation, program-related messaging, and customer deliverables. They will also have exceptional interpersonal and client-facing skills, as well as knowledge of AWS Cloud architecture and services, Agile/Scrum software development process, and Jira project management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical systems integration support to fast-paced operational projects
  • Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements for an enterprise-level IT infrastructure and services project
  • Perform functional analysis to identify tasks and their relationships
  • Research and recommend resources required for task execution and completion
  • Perform functional modeling based on requirements analysis
  • Work with technical and operations staff to develop solutions to user requirements
  • Serve as technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas
  • Generate recommendations in the form of technical briefings, reports, and other major documents

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Experience with technical documentation, program-related messaging, and customer deliverables
  • Exceptional interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud architecture and services, Agile/Scrum software development process, and Jira project management tools

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with active polygraph
