Job Title: Security Specialist

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team in Bethesda, MD. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining security programs to meet mission requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security programs to ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct security reviews and assessments to identify and recommend ways to address gaps in security programs.
  • Provide recommendations on personnel security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain security program SOPs and briefings.
  • Conduct security briefings and training classes for government and contractor personnel.
  • Process 4311 documents and support visitor requests.
Requirements:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP, CAP, and SCI security procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience with information, industrial, and personnel security principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply wide range of security concepts, principles, and practices to resolve problems and develop guidance documentation.
  • Typically requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years working with or in the IC.
