Job Title: Contracting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracting Specialist to join our team at Links Global. As a key member of our contracting team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing federal government contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering positive relationships with contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full life cycle of federal government contracts, from pre-award through closeout.
  • Review and interpret contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and modifications as needed.
  • Work closely with contractors to address changes in scope, pricing, and other contract terms.
  • Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant federal regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in federal contracting policies and guidelines.
  • Identify and mitigate contract-related risks.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address contractual issues.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of contract-related activities.
  • Generate reports on contract status, performance, and compliance.
  • Manage the contract closeout process, ensuring all requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in federal government contracting and contract management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal contracting processes.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certification in federal contracting (e.g., FAC-C or DAWIA).
  • Familiarity with government contract management systems and tools.
  • Experience with various contract types, including fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, and IDIQ.
  • Understanding of small business contracting programs.
