Bankruptcy Specialist Job Description

At Rosenberg & Associates, we're looking for a skilled Bankruptcy Specialist to join our team. As a Bankruptcy Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting our bankruptcy team and ensuring the smooth operation of our foreclosure industry services.

Responsibilities:

* Receive and upload client referrals into our firm's databases
* Prepare and file various bankruptcy documents, including proof of claims and motions for relief
* Monitor workflow to ensure productivity and customer service standards are met
* Support bankruptcy team members to ensure client objectives are met
* Ensure client guidelines and requirements are followed to avoid compensatory fees or penalties
* Communicate with courts and administrators
* Utilize federal electronic filing systems

Requirements:

* Minimum of two years of bankruptcy experience
* Knowledge of creditors' rights preferred but not required
* Self-motivated with limited supervision
* Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
* Superior attention to detail
* High school diploma, college degree preferred
* Ability to work in a team environment
