Job Title: Junior Contract Specialist

Interactive Government Holdings Inc is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Junior Contract Specialist to provide Contract Specialist Support for the Military Treatment Facilities that fall under the National Capitol Region.

In support of the Defense Health Agency, while maintaining strictest confidentiality, the successful candidate will establish and maintain effective working relationships with government personnel and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the federal acquisition process, contracting principles, laws, regulations, and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing contract management support to the government
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of acquisition strategies
  • Conducting market research and analysis
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with government personnel and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field, that includes or is supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods or organization
  • Minimum 2 years of experience serving as a Federal government and/or contractor employee in the GS-1102 series or equivalent capacity as a contract specialist/administrator or procurement analyst
  • Must be DAWIA Contracting Level I certified (graduate level education may be substituted for years of experience or DAWIA Contracting Level I certification)
