Job Summary:

The Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatrics & Gerontology at the University of Wisconsin is seeking a Geriatrics Clinical Investigator to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for conducting research in the area of aging and geriatrics, with a focus on physical function and mobility research. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research, both independently and in collaboration with other faculty members, within a specialized field of interest, including health disparities research, health services research, or a related field.
  • Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and teach graduate-level courses in relevant fields as appropriate.
  • Provide primary care and/or sub-specialty patient care with a focus on bone disease for our older adult population, with latitude to launch a new clinic that would deliver patient care within rural or urban Dane County UW Health Clinics.
  • Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
Requirements:
  • Terminal Degree (MD/DO or equivalent) required.
  • Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Geriatrics.
Work Environment:

This position requires work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
