Role Summary:

The Clinical Operations Executive is a pivotal leadership role tasked with overseeing and directing the clinical functions across designated regions. This position is integral in providing operational and patient care leadership, aligning with the company’s strategic objectives, and ensuring the effective execution of all clinical operations and quality care initiatives within the assigned regions. The Clinical Operations Executive is expected to cultivate positive and productive relationships with senior leadership, local management, and ancillary business departments to achieve the organization’s vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer strategic leadership and guidance in critical clinical domains to enhance patient care delivery, ensure compliance with clinical practices, and improve patient experiences.
  • Supervise and manage Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), ensuring adherence to established clinical protocols and guidelines.
  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and assess new staff to meet the evolving needs of Curana and its patients.
  • Evaluate and analyze quality metrics to gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of care delivery, identifying opportunities for enhancement and executing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and oversee clinical staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and streamlined workflows.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with senior living facilities, working closely with their teams to optimize care coordination and address the unique healthcare needs of residents.
  • Engage in the rollout of company-wide initiatives, including value-based care models aimed at elevating quality.
  • Actively participate in committees or task forces focused on clinical operations, quality enhancement, and patient safety, providing expertise and insights.
  • Promote a culture centered on patient care, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and manage the clinical budget, monitor financial performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety protocols.
  • Stay informed on the latest trends and advancements in primary care, geriatric medicine, and senior living, integrating evidence-based practices into clinical operations.
  • Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare organizations, community resources, and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in primary care, geriatric, or senior living services.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Comprehensive understanding of primary care and geriatric medicine, particularly the unique healthcare requirements of older adults.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, emphasizing data-driven decision-making.

Education:
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant (PA) qualification.
Travel Requirements:
  • Some travel within the state may be necessary to visit providers and facilities.
