Position Overview:
The Department of Radiology within the School of Medicine & Public Health is looking for a Clinical Research Nurse to contribute to innovative medical imaging and disease-oriented initiatives. The Clinical Research Nurse collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, PhD researchers, imaging personnel, and other research support staff, to facilitate a diverse array of compelling research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will:

  • 20% Coordinate and schedule logistics for clinical research projects in alignment with the research framework.
  • 10% Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of participants for clinical studies through comprehensive health assessments.
  • 15% Deliver professional nursing care to patients following established protocols.
  • 10% Provide clear treatment plan guidance and information to study participants.
  • 20% Act as the primary liaison for project participants, investigators, research sponsors, and the research team, ensuring the delivery of study information in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • 10% Collect, verify, and input data into databases while analyzing clinical information.
  • 5% Serve as the main contact for urgent participant situations related to adverse effects or complications arising from the study.
  • 10% Offer expertise, training, and mentorship to the community, colleagues, and/or students.

Education Requirements:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree

Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience OR
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced/high-pressure medical environment.
Preferred:
- Technical skills including injections, emergency response, IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration.
- Experience in an ambulatory clinic setting.
Licensure/Certification:
Required:
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure.
Work Type:
Full or Part Time: 80% - 100%
Additional Information:
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring eligibility for employment in the United States. University sponsorship is not available for this position.
