The Clinical Operations Executive plays a pivotal role in leading and managing the clinical functions across designated regions. This position is tasked with delivering operational and patient care leadership, aligning with the overarching business strategy, and ensuring the effective execution of clinical operations and quality care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership in critical clinical domains to enhance care delivery, ensuring high standards of patient care, compliance with clinical practices, and optimal patient experiences.
- Oversee and guide Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), ensuring adherence to established clinical protocols and guidelines.
- Recruit, onboard, mentor, and assess new staff to fulfill Curana's and patients' needs effectively.
- Evaluate and interpret quality metrics to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of care delivery, identifying opportunities for enhancement and implementing quality improvement strategies.
- Design and manage clinical staff schedules to ensure sufficient coverage and streamlined workflows.
- Establish and nurture relationships with senior living facilities, collaborating with their teams to optimize care coordination and address the unique healthcare requirements of residents.
- Engage in the rollout of company-wide initiatives, including value-based care models aimed at elevating quality.
- Actively contribute to company committees or task forces focused on clinical operations, quality enhancement, and patient safety, offering expertise and guidance.
- Promote a culture centered on patient care, fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and oversee the clinical budget, monitor financial performance, and pinpoint areas for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Ensure adherence to relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in primary care, geriatric medicine, and senior living, integrating evidence-based practices into clinical operations.
- Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, organizations, community resources, and regulatory entities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Possession of a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the relevant jurisdiction.
- A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in primary care, geriatric, or senior living services.
- Comprehensive understanding of primary care and geriatric medicine, particularly the unique healthcare needs of older adults.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and team-building capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, emphasizing data-driven decision-making.
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Some travel within the state may be necessary to visit providers and facilities.
