Job Overview
As a vital member of our team, the Customer Service Admin plays a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our clients to enhance customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain professional business relationships with customers.
- Process incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and timely customer confirmations.
- Act as a liaison between production and clients to facilitate smooth operations.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain and update the customer database efficiently.
- Address customer inquiries promptly and effectively.
- Communicate customer needs and expectations to the production team in a timely manner.
- Provide sales support by matching and filing orders accurately.
- Adapt to changes and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
- Assist with receiving duties, including processing paperwork and inventory entry.
This position requires significant time spent on the phone with customers, taking orders, answering queries, and resolving issues to build a cohesive relationship. Responsibilities also include order entry into the system and coordinating with corporate credit for necessary approvals. Ensuring order accuracy post-entry and managing documentation is essential.
Additionally, the role involves following up on delivery commitments, serving as a communication bridge between customers and the production department, handling sample requests, managing monthly inventory, and participating in training for continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proficient in computer systems, preferably JD Edwards.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, and calculators.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
