Business Development Executive

Byrne is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join our Sales Team in the West Territory. This individual will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating sales strategy to new diverse markets. Key responsibilities include establishing new relationships with A&D influencers, end users, OEMs, and channel partners, and expanding Byrne's presence and selling power and data distribution systems and accessories within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Gather market intelligence about competitive environment, market shifts, new product development, market trends, and differentiators that may impact value or performance.
- Identify, target, develop, and close sales with new customers and assigned accounts.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with all levels in new customers and assigned accounts.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned market segments.
- Align with Byrne Research & Development and Engineering on new product development activities for new markets.
- Travel regularly (30-40%) to develop and maintain relationships with customers in order to align on sales strategy and build relationships.
- Help position Byrne as the industry expert to our customers.
- At least 3-5 years of experience preferably in A&D or other industry environment.
- Mastery of common sense selling/action selling skills.
- Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
- Strong communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills - must be able to work with customers and leave a positive impression.
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively in an environment requiring patience and flexibility.
