Job Title: Business Development Director Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to lead our sales efforts in the NAFTA territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth through the development and implementation of strategic plans, building strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end-users, and leading a team of internal and external colleagues to maximize sales opportunities. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of the Press Safety and Machine Automation Industry, including competitive products and internal Power-Off Clamping technology advancements. * Provide sales and engineering support for technical applications and business proposals. * Create and manage annual business plans, maintain opportunities and sales funnels within the CRM system, and have direct input into contract interpretation and customer discussions. * Attend industry trade events, network with key stakeholders, and create presentations and demonstrations on product performance. * Proactively identify new markets for increased sales and assist/support in other job functions within the department, division, and/or company as needed. Requirements: * Superior interpersonal communication skills, professional demeanor, and relationship building abilities. * Strong initiative to work independently without direct supervision or oversight. * Experience in machine tool processes/automation engineering, demonstrating a strong electro-mechanical and hydraulic technical aptitude. * Competitive nature and goal-oriented mindset. * Ability and willingness to travel, including international travel, with a minimum of 30% travel required. * BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * 5-10 years of technical sales experience preferred.
