About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE) for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in the development of STE systems, including research, test equipment/system development, and integration.
  • Design and develop automated test equipment (ATE) and electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for system production tests, system validation, and system level field test.
  • Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, including Electronics & Mechanical Hardware, Electronic Hardware, FPGA Systems, and Software and Systems engineers.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues and improve overall team performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Significant experience leading the design, development, and integration of Automated Test Equipment or Special Test Equipment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, requiring US Citizenship.
  • Excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board and system level automated test system debugging and troubleshooting experience.
  • Demonstrated system design and versatility.
  • Test system and test safety requirements development experience.
  • RF test methodology design, integration, and test experience.
  • Designing automated tests and test equipment using NetAcquire, LXI instruments, cRIO, PXIe, Oscilloscopes, Serial Communications, SpaceWire Communications, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Counters, etc.
  • Python software development experience for Automated Test Equipment highly desired.
  • LabVIEW Windows, LabVIEW Real-Time, and LabVIEW FPGA development highly desired.
