Customer Service Billing Specialist

Job Summary:
The Customer Service Billing Specialist role involves investigating, analyzing, and resolving billing issues. This position requires working within established procedures to ensure accurate billing for customers, including addressing manual work associated with meter exchanges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and Resolve Billing Issues: Analyze data and identify necessary adjustments to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Process Billing Adjustments: Process billing adjustments, exceptions, and corrections while adhering to timelines.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of work and customer interactions using provided systems.
- Utilize Data Management Tools: Use Oracle C2M, Excel, and other tools to manage data, track progress, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Support Meter Exchange Efforts: Review and process related billing tasks to support meter exchange efforts.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Communicate with team members to collaborate on problem-solving and complete assigned tasks.
- Provide Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries about billing and provide accurate information.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Two or more years of experience in customer service, billing, or a related field.
- Skills: Intermediate skills in Excel, attention to detail, and basic math abilities.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Oracle C2M, Outlook, and Finesse is beneficial but not required.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Schedule: Ability to work a hybrid schedule with some on-site presence.
