In this position, you will be tasked with delivering seamless IT support for laboratory instruments and their related software applications. Your knowledge will be vital in ensuring the efficient functioning of these instruments and promoting effective data management. You will work closely with diverse teams, including vendors and network specialists, to successfully implement and sustain the required configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct user administration duties, such as creating and validating user accounts

· Resolve incidents through troubleshooting, physical inspections of instruments, network issues, and license management

· Collaborate with vendors and liaise with network teams to facilitate the setup of laboratory instruments

· Draft and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

· Provide regular reviews and maintenance support to instrument owners, ensuring adherence to maintenance plans and assisting with firmware updates

Required Qualifications:

· 2 to 5 years of experience in laboratory IT end-user support within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors, or equivalent experience and relevant certifications

· Familiarity with laboratory instruments and associated PCs

· Ability to assist users, provide system maintenance, and perform upgrades

· Excellent communication skills

· Proficient in installing and upgrading software

· Capable of supporting initial troubleshooting efforts

· Collaborate with vendors to ensure Operational Qualification (OQ) of instruments

· Knowledge of ITIL practices (Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management)

· Experience with GxP standards; understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, manual testing, qualification processes, and familiarity with LIMS and CDS
